Everything You Need to Know
Questions before you cook?
Short, honest answers to the questions that decide whether this is the right cookware for your kitchen.
What is the best cookware gift under $150?
A frying pan in the material they love — ceramic nonstick for easy cooks, carbon steel for high-heat cooks — or a specialty piece like a wok, grill pan or fondue set they would not buy themselves.
Is Alva cookware a good wedding or housewarming gift?
Cookware is the rare gift that gets used daily for years — and every Alva piece carries a warranty of 5 years to lifetime, so the gift outlasts the occasion.
Can a gift be returned or exchanged?
Try your cookware at home for 45 days from delivery. Used cookware is welcome, including normal wear, seasoning or discoloration. Return it in reasonable condition with all original parts and accessories. Alva covers one prepaid return label per order. View return policy.
How do I choose a safe cookware gift?
Every coated Alva line is independently screened by TÜV Rheinland with reports published on our Testing & Materials page — a claim very few cookware brands can gift-wrap.
Do gifts come with the full warranty?
All cookware warranties are limited to manufacturing defects under normal household use. Stainless steel, Artist/Black Angus carbon steel and enameled cast iron have limited lifetime coverage; Maestro ceramic nonstick and Forest carbon steel have limited 10-year coverage; Energy, Mobi and Neat ceramic nonstick have limited 5-year coverage. Normal wear, gradual loss of nonstick performance, misuse and accidental damage are excluded. View coverage and exclusions.
