What does this glass lid do?

What is this lid made of?
It uses tempered glass so you can see the food while it cooks, with a handle for lifting. Choose the matching diameter rather than assuming one lid fits every pan.
Will it fit my Maestro pan, and can it go in the oven?
Match the lid's listed diameter (8, 9.5 or 11 inches) to a compatible Maestro pan. The lid is oven safe up to 400°F; always respect the lower limit of the pan-and-lid combination.
How should I clean the glass lid?
