Made for better cooking

Build a better sear.

Responsive carbon steel helps you sear and stir-fry. Seasoning develops natural release; wooden handles keep this collection on the stovetop.

Good questions, straight answers

Everything you’re wondering

What is included?
Three frying pans (8, 9.5 and 11 inches) and one 12-inch wok.
Why choose carbon steel instead of nonstick?
Uncoated carbon steel is built for responsive heat and a strong sear without a synthetic nonstick coating. With proper care, its seasoned cooking surface develops over time.
Can I use it on induction or in the oven?
It works on gas, electric and induction cooktops, but Forest's wooden-handled cookware is not oven safe. Use it on the stovetop only.
Is carbon steel a hassle to look after?
Less than its reputation. After cooking, rinse with hot water, dry it on the burner for a minute and wipe a drop of oil around the inside: about a minute of work. Skip the dishwasher and never leave it soaking. The seasoning darkens and gets slicker with every cook, and if you ever forget and find a spot of rust, a scrub and a fresh wipe of oil bring it straight back. Nothing is ruined.
