Will my food stick to stainless steel?
Only when the pan is cold. Preheat on medium for 2 to 3 minutes, add oil, and let proteins release on their own before you turn them. Once you have the rhythm, you get a sear and a pan sauce no coated pan can match. Our 60-second stainless guide walks you through it.
Is the 7-piece the right set for my kitchen?
It covers a family of 3 to 5: a 9.5" frying pan for searing, a 1.5-qt saucepan for grains and sauces, a 4-qt sauté pan for braises and one-pan dinners, and a 7-qt stock pot for pasta and soup. Three fitted lids included. Cooking for two or short on space? Look at the 5-piece. Want a second and third frying pan and a bigger saucepan? The 14-piece adds them.
Is it really 5-ply all the way up the sides?
Yes. Five bonded layers run through the base and the walls of every piece, which is what stops a sauté pan from scorching at the burner ring. The cooking surface is uncoated 18/10 stainless steel, made without PFAS, PTFE or PFOA, with the independent lab report published on this page.
Does it work on induction, in the oven and in the dishwasher?
All three. Every piece works on gas, electric and induction, goes in the oven to 500°F / 260°C, and is dishwasher safe. Metal utensils are fine. Hand washing keeps the polish longer, but it is not required.
