This is an elegant cast iron fondue set from the Alva Nori collection. Perfect for appetizers, snacks or dinner, this set is most suitable for meat fondues, but can be used for cheese and chocolate fondues after removing the splash guard. The interior and exterior are coated with two layers of scratch-resistant enamel, enabling immediate use. This fondue has excellent heat conductivity to warm evenly for cheese or chocolate to melt uniformly. Contains eight forks with handles made of authentic Acacia Wood.

How do I clean my cast iron fondue set?

Alva’s Nori cast iron fondue set is hand wash recommended, meaning they should not be put through the dishwasher. When washing cast iron cookware, the first step is always to wash with warm water and soap immediately after use. You can use a scraper to remove especially stubborn foods. Then, use a lint-free cloth or paper towel to wipe away the mess. The last step is to rub a light layer of cooking oil over the surface and then wipe away (with a paper towel or lint-free cloth) to remove the last bits of grease and residue.

What type of fondue is this set suitable for?

The Alva Nori Fondue Set is most suitable for meat fondues, but also capable of melting cheese or chocolate fondues.

Is the cast iron fondue set nonstick?

Alva’s Nori cast iron products are not considered “non-stick” in the way that other ceramic coated products are. They do not have a layer of nonstick coating.

Yes, the cast iron fondue set is safe for oven use up to 482 degrees fahrenheit.

Yes, to season cast iron, you can apply a layer of oil (vegetable, canola) onto the surface (inside and out) before putting it in the oven to bake.
