What is included?
Two pans, two cooking surfaces: 8" ceramic nonstick frying pan; 11" 5-ply stainless frying pan.
Which pieces are nonstick?
The 8-inch frying pan has a ceramic nonstick surface for eggs and fish. The 11-inch frying pan is uncoated stainless steel for searing and pan sauces.
Will every piece work on induction and in the oven?
Yes. All cookware pieces work on gas, electric and induction. Stainless steel pieces are oven safe to 500°F / 260°C; ceramic nonstick pieces to 400°F / 205°C. Use the lower limit when combining a pan with a lid or accessory.
How do I keep the nonstick pieces releasing easily?
Cook the nonstick pieces on low to medium with a little oil or butter, use wood or silicone utensils, and hand wash them with a soft sponge. That keeps eggs and delicate fish sliding out cleanly. The uncoated stainless pieces handle hard searing and pan sauces.
