Good questions, straight answers

Everything you’re wondering

What is this cookware best for?
A strong choice for burgers, steaks and other proteins where a hot pan and deep browning matter. Choose from individual pan sizes or the set.
Why choose carbon steel instead of nonstick?
Uncoated carbon steel is built for responsive heat and a strong sear without a synthetic nonstick coating. With proper care, its seasoned cooking surface develops over time.
Can I use it on induction or in the oven?
It works on gas, electric and induction cooktops and is oven safe up to 500°F. Use protection when handling hot cookware.
Is carbon steel a hassle to look after?
Less than its reputation. After cooking, rinse with hot water, dry it on the burner for a minute and wipe a drop of oil around the inside: about a minute of work. Skip the dishwasher and never leave it soaking. The seasoning darkens and gets slicker with every cook, and if you ever forget and find a spot of rust, a scrub and a fresh wipe of oil bring it straight back. Nothing is ruined.
