The

Alva

Legacy

Belgian cookware, crafted with intention — since 1949.

The Origin

1949 - Belgium

After World War II, a Belgian craftsman named Albert Vandaele saw opportunity where others saw waste. Using discarded military aluminum, he began crafting cooking pots by hand — shaping, sanding, and refining each piece in a small workshop. Every pot was made with care. Imperfect ones were melted down and recast on the spot. Nothing wasted. Everything intentional.

Our Legacy

Built by family. Made to last.

As the years passed, Alva grew — but never lost its roots. In the early 1990s, Allinox was founded to support Alva’s expansion, allowing the brand to work with new materials and larger production while keeping Belgian expertise at the heart of every decision. Today, Allinox remains a family-run company, headquartered in Belgium and distributing high-quality cookware around the world. What hasn’t changed? Our belief that great cookware should be made to last — and made responsibly.

Vision to Reality

Our Founder's Journey

In post-war Belgium, 1949, Albert Vandaele saw possibility where others saw ruin. Using discarded wartime materials, he began crafting high-quality aluminum pots and pans—laying the foundation for Alva. From the start, Albert’s standards were uncompromising. Any piece that didn’t meet them was melted down and made again. That same dedication to quality, care, and sustainability continues to guide everything we do today.
